It’s expected to be a busy travel day on Thanksgiving and travelers may not be so thankful for the wet and rainy weather affecting much of the East Coast.

The country’s highways and roads and the airports will once again be filled with travelers going to relatives and friends homes for the holiday.

More than 80 million people will travel over Thanksgiving, according to AAA. And with people seeking out their bargains on Black Friday, it can be expected the roads will not be empty for the 24 hours following Turkey Day.

Rain is expected to cover the eastern part of the United States on Thanksgiving with snow hitting in some parts of the Northeast.
